Unity Developer
Locations: Winnipeg, Canada
Project Whitecard Digital Inc. is a world leading developer of games and interactive immersive 3D virtual environments, with clients such as the Canadian Space Agency and NASA. Project Whitecard uses leading 3D technologies, including Virtual Reality. We simply believe in creating apps that do a little more than entertain.
The Unity Developer position requires at least an intermediate level of experience.
The position requires an on-site presence in our Winnipeg studio.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain C# code
Develop, implement, and test APIs
Work closely with designers to implement gameplay and interactive features and functionality using Unity
Create and improve tools as necessary to support specific features
Continuously test, debug, profile, analyze, and optimize on applicable VR hardware
Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of production and development
Participate in daily meetings
Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in C#
Minimum 3 years of experience or at least one released title using Unity 2017 or above (game jam & hobby projects are counted)
Strong algorithm knowledge and analysis
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related discipline or equivalent experience
Self-driven and self-motivated
Disciplined without needing constant supervision
Strong communicator
Able to manage time appropriately to meet deadlines

Level & activity design
Unity Slate and Timeline work
Collaborate closely with designers to implement gameplay and interactive features and functionality using Unity
Continuously test, debug, profile, analyze, and optimize on applicable VR hardware
Contribute innovative and original ideas on all aspects of production and development
Participate in daily meetings
Requirements:
Demonstrated proficiency in Unity
Self-driven and self-motivated

Nice To Haves:
Past experience developing VR experiences
Experience using SVN
Experience with Agile & Scrum workflow
Experience with Unity’s animation systems
